The last quarter of 2011 has been a busy time at Xcellerate IT with executive lunches on best practices in accounts payable organised in Melbourne and Sydney. The 2012 will open up with existing new events as Xcellerate IT will sponsor the TechnologyOne Evolve 2012 showcase.
The 2011 educational seminars on accounts payable automation turned to be a great success with 70 attendees representing 40 organisations.
The 2011 format included more discussions and more opportunities for the attendees to interact with fellow colleagues and share expertise and best practices.
Both events in Melbourne (Oct 5th) and Sydney (Nov 9th) had case studies from Australia’s leading organisations, with more time for questions per session. Frankston City Council in Melbourne and Wollongong City Council in Sydney were the key speakers and shared with all the attendees the challenges they overcame in accounts payable and the benefits they have achieved since streamlining their financials processes with the Xcellerate IT’s solution.
The limited number of attendees created a dynamic environment which allowed plenty of interaction with industry-leading speakers concerning AP processing challenges.
Chief Financial Officers, Accounts Payable Managers and Project Managers were amongst the attendees. The feedback we received was very positive. Attendees said “by attending this kind of events we gained some ideas and learnt from the discussions with industry leaders. We realised that implementing this type of solution enables more efficient operations and provides greater visibility and control of the Accounts Payable process".
