The end of 2011 is fast approaching and upon reflection it has been a very fruitful and successful year for Xcellerate IT and I am excited about what is to come in 2012.
In the last 12 months, Xcellerate IT has focused our attention on customer service, account management and continuing as thought leaders and experts in automating accounts payable (AP) departments.
The Xcellerate IT community now reaches over 65 live organisations across Australia and we continue to strengthen and value our relationships with our customers and business partners, Kofax, Dataract and ACA Pacific. To support the growth we have increased the size of the Professional Services Team with additional senior consultants supporting our customers.
When I look back to 2004 when Xcellerate IT won our first accounts payable projects, organisations were far less advanced with little knowledge of automating processes to improve efficiencies. Today, nearly eight years on, organisations are now dedicated to improving business processes within departments and business units with a strong interest in job roles dedicated to this specific task. Shared service departments have become a reality and Process Improvement Managers and Shared Services Managers now play a key role within organisations, with many leading projects for business process automation.
Enterprise capture is here today and growing strongly. We now find ourselves working with our customers to deploy the same capture technology as used in AP to different business units, as the realisation of the value of the efficiencies gained in capture and data extraction is spreading across the business.
In 2011, Xcellerate IT made important steps to establish its leadership as the provider of account payable automation solutions for the Heath Care industry. Some of the major health care customers include Epworth Healthcare, SouthWest Health Care, Eastern Health and Melbourne Health, who have selected Xcellerate IT’s solution to automate their accounting process.
We have strengthened our strategic partnership with TechnologyOne. The Professional Services Team have deployed the Xcellerate IT’s document capture solutions to over 35 TechnologyOne users including Wesley Mission Brisbane, Southern Cross University, Epworth Healthcare, City of West Torrens and Parramatta City Council in recent months.
It has been 12 months of hard work and I would like to thank our team and all our business partners for their contributions to Xcellerate IT.
Thank you for your continued support throughout 2011 and I wish you and your families an enjoyable holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year.
