The South Korean leading car maker chooses Xcellerate IT solution to streamline its Accounts Payable processes in Australia by adopting an information capture and workflow technology.

Sydney, 15 October 2009 – Xcellerate IT “AP Dynamics” solution will be soon implemented to rationalize the accounting processes of one the leading car makers in Australia. Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) has chosen Xcellerate IT information capture and workflow technology for its Accounts Payable.

With a constant growth in the Australian automotive market, the South Korean car maker has been facing an increase of work in all its paper driven business processes. The Accounts Payable department processes more than 20,000 supplier invoices and paper documents per annum, facing challenges in handling exceptions and ruoting them internally.

HMCA has chosen Xcellerate IT “AP Dynamics” solution to integrate to its financial system, System 21, with an end-to-end image capture and workflow solution. This will guarantee reductions in existing manual data entry requirements by up to 75%, as well as invoices to be electronically and automatically routed for approval as required.

Xcellerate IT scanning and workflow solution will streamline the manual processes, eliminate the need to move around physical paper and make electronic invoice retrieval instantaneous. The real-time database interaction with System 21 will ensure data integrity is always maintained.
